ABOUT ME
My name is Cannen Brewer, originally from Wausau, WI, and now a Mechanical Engineering student at the Colorado School of Mines with a 3.86 GPA. I am on track to graduate in May 2028. My fascination with aviation and aerospace started when I was 9 years old, watching Iron Man for the first time; ever since then, I have been hooked. That early spark grew into a genuine love for the physics of flight and the engineering behind next-generation aircraft.
That fascination stems from a deeper love of aerodynamics, which is also what draws me toward wind energy; a field where aerodynamics and renewables intersect, and where I hope to build my career. I'm passionate about developing new technologies that help protect the planet so future generations can enjoy the same beautiful world I've had the privilege to call home.
Whether it's the wing of an aircraft or the blade of a wind turbine, I'm drawn to the engineering problems where fluid dynamics and energy meet; and I'm excited to spend my career solving them.
